	The Great Italian Art & Food Challenge
Derek Jones, our program chair, is challenging your creativity. In deference to our host country, to celebrate art and the food of Italy, he challenges you is to create either a piece of artwork generated from MR data, or to create the best possible picture of a plate of Italian food, using MR data (either assembling data to resemble food, or actually image the food itself). We don’t want to be too prescriptive here, as we’ll stifle your creativity. Surprise us and inspire us with your creations. Entries will not only be displayed in the MiCo Convention Centre for the duration of the meeting, but they will be judged by your peers onsite, with the top three entries receiving specific recognition and special awards. Just follow these rules: *Submission: Please submit a short outline (free text, not more than one page) describing your proposed art piece to roberta@ismrm.org. Deadline*: 10 April 2014 A dedicated team from the Annual Meeting Program Committee will select the best submissions. Authors will be informed by 16 April. Those selected will be expected to bring their printed artwork to the MiCo Convention Centre for display starting Saturday morning, 10 May 2014. We know time is short, but we also have GREAT faith in the deadline-driven nature of this community, as well as its creativity!
