Overview
An in-depth discussion of clinical imaging of bone and cartilage before and after orthopaedic intervention including repair, implants and biomaterials.

Target Audience
Radiologists, MRI Technologists, orthopaedic surgeons, and clinical care providers who will benefit from additional knowledge on the use MRI patterns of arthritis before and after orthopaedic procedures.

Educational Objectives
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
Become familiar with emerging orthopaedic surgery procedures;
• Classify the biomaterials in the surgical treatment of arthritis;
• Implement new metal-reduction MRI techniques for imaging of metal implants and evaluate their impact; and
• Identify possible complications associated with the treatment of arthritis.
