Overview
This session will cover the landscape of how AI has been used in brain
tumor imaging as well as provide a discussion of associated challenges
and future potential in aiding in diagnosis, treatment planning,
predicting early response to therapy, and outcomes. The second half of
the session will include scientific abstract presentations representing
some of the latest updates in this field.
Target Audience
Researchers and clinicians interested in learning more about the
potential of AI in imaging of brain tumors as well as current
challenges.
Educational Objectives
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the technical challenges behind applying AI to imaging of
brain tumors for diagnosis, predicting outcomes, and monitoring response
to therapy.
- Identify potential areas where applying AI can most benefit patients
with brain tumors in the clinic and clinical trials.
- Disseminate the latest research applying AI to MRI to study brain
tumors.
