2015 John A. Koveleski Award for Professional Development

This award was established to honor the memory of John A. Koveleski, SMRT President 2002-2003, in recognizing the need for MR professional development of students and new entrants in the field of MR.

Vikneswary has been working as a Radiation Therapist since graduating in 2001, and as a Research Radiation Therapist since 2007 at Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre in Australia. Her research interests include breast and cardiac imaging. In her current role she has led various research projects, contributing to multiple pieces of work which she has presented at both national and international conferences. Her first experience in MRI research was when she was involved in a project assessing utilisation of MRI in breast radiotherapy in 2012. Since then she has been involved in many other MRI related research projects. She is currently completing her PhD assessing Image guidance in breast radiotherapy.
