services to the Capital Area since 1986. We are open Monday through Friday from
07:00 to 23:00, and Saturday from 07:00 to 12:00. We are equipped
with two 1.5 GE Signas and a 0.3T Hitachi MRP 7000.

The Magentic
Imaging Center (MIC) is committed to blending the highest quality MR images,
interpretation, and service in Central Pennsylvania with the greatest degree
of patient comfort. We receive referrals from a broad base of referring
physicians who have come to rely on our expertise and exquisite image
quality. All of our technologists are registered by the American Registry of
Radiological Technologists, have received advanced certification in magnetic
resonance imaging, and are continually educated on the advances in MRI
technology. Our state-of-the-art magentic imaging technology, constantly
updated, now features GE's new Signa EXCITE software, which shortens patient
scan time and provides a higher resolution image to deliver a definitive
diagnosis. We are a comprehensive MRI facility performing brain, spine,
cardiac, breast, musculoskeletal, abdominal and pelvic imaging, as well as
contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography of the neck, chest,
abdomen, pelvis, upper and lower extremities and spectroscopy. We offer
extended hours to keep patient waiting to a minimum. We perform
approximately 800-900 scans per month and are very efficient in patient
through-put without sacrificing image quality. We have done clinical testing
for both of our manufacturers. Most referring physicians in our area prefer
that their patients come to our facility even if there is a magnet closer to
the doctor's office or the patient's home
