Overview

This two-hour course will cover the current state of interventional MRI. The latest innovations in this field will be
presented and their impact on clinical practice will be discussed. The course will cover body, neuro, vascular and
cardiac applications of interventional MRI.  Leaders in the field will describe some of the novel methodology which
has been developed for these applications as well as the roles of interventional MRI.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:
•  describe clinical applications and potential new clinical applications for interventional MRI ;
•  explain the novel methodology underpinning interventional MRI;
•  evaluate the state-of-the-art research going on in the field of interventional MRI;  and
•  discuss implications on practice of future trends/development in interventional MRI

This course is designed for clinicians, including radiologists and cardiologists, technologists, MR physicists,
image processing specialists, research scientists/students interested in interventional MRI.
