| OVERVIEW |

This one day organ-based
course will cover the most common indications in
abdominal and pelvic MRI as well as a variety of other
difficult topics. We will cover the status quo in terms
of hardware and software usage, as well as new cutting
edge technologies for the body MR clinician. This course
is designed for Intermediate level clinical
radiologists, technologist and physicists. |

| EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
|
Upon completion of this
case based session, participants should be able to:
- Describe the current role of MR in the workup of
patients with abdominal and pelvic conditions;
- Apply new body MR techniques in their practice
to shift patients with abdominal and pelvic from the
CT suite to the MR suite; and
- Use multiparametric MRI for improved diagnosis
of abdominal and pelvic diseases.
