Joint Annual Meeting ISMRM-ESMRMB 2014 10-16 May 2014 Milan, Italy

SUNRISE EDUCATIONAL COURSE
Quantitative Imaging & Modeling
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate
ORGANIZERS: Joseph J. H. Ackerman, Ph.D. & Kevin M. Bennett, Ph.D.
Tuesday, 13 May 2014

OVERVIEW
It is critical to extrapolate useful, quantitative information from structural and anatomical MR images. This course will present principles of biophysical modeling techniques to extract quantitative information about tissue structure and function

TARGET AUDIENCE
Researchers interested in incorporating quantitative analysis of anatomical, diffusion, and contrast-enhanced MRI data.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the need for quantitative modeling in MRI data;
  • Identify the limitations of modeling; and
  • Apply computational models to extract physical information from MRI data.
