OVERVIEW |
MRomics is an emerging discipline
that integrates imaging and genetics to provide new approaches to
personalized medicine as well as lend new insight into
population-based research. This 2-hour course will introduce the
concepts and methods underlying the current state-of-the-art as well
as the challenges and opportunities associated with their
development and application. |

TARGET AUDIENCE |
Clinician and basic scientists
interested in integrative imaging analyses of multivariate data in
general and genetics in particular. |

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
As a result of attending this
course, participants should be able to: |
- Describe the rationale
for and goals of MRomics;
- Understand the basic
principles and methods of MRomics;
- Discuss some of the open
challenges and future trends in MRomics research and
application; and
- Design and evaluate
studies in MRomics.
