Overview
This course will describe the types of changes identified in low back pain and their subsequent impact on management. It will also explore the value of multiparametric MR in the wide setting of spinal imaging, and the spectrum of the MR changes seen in spinal disease, both degenerative and non-degenerative.

Target Audience
Physicists and clinicians involved in the evaluation and care of low back pain.

Educational Objectives
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
• Convey the MR changes identified with degenerative spinal disease;
• Illustrate the importance of these changes in the broader healthcare environment; and
• Demonstrate the additional value of multiparametric MR in spinal imaging.
