E. K. Zavoisky Stipend Program

The ISMRM invites applications for stipends from the E. K. Zavoisky Program, established to support the attendance of scientists and clinicians who reside in financially restricted countries and who have limited personal income to attend the ISMRM 23rd Annual Meeting & Exhibition. The program is named in honor of E. K. Zavoisky, pioneer in MR research from the former USSR. Those applicants who are first authors on the Proceedings submission will be given priority.

Who Should Apply?
Scientists and clinicians who reside in financially restricted countries and do not have access to the financial means to attend the ISMRM 23rd Annual Meeting & Exhibition may apply.

2015 ISMRM membership is required before application for an educational stipend. If you are not a member, you will need to complete the membership application process on or before 12 November 2014 in order to apply for an educational stipend. If you are already a member, you will need to pay your 2015 membership dues on or before 12 November 2014.

Application to the Zavoisky stipend program is incorporated into the online abstract submission process.

Restrictions:
Applicants eligible for the Educational Stipend Program (undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral and medical trainees) are not eligible for the Zavoisky Program.

Application Requirements:
Application to the E. K. Zavoisky Stipend program this year is incorporated into the online abstract submission process. It is mandatory that applicants complete the application on the ISMRM abstract submission website, which will require:

  • ISMRM membership number (if available);
  • Supervisor's name and contact information (Institution and email address);
  • Abstract (first authors will be given preference)

In addition, please email the following to zavoisky15@ismrm.org:

  • A copy of electronic confirmation of online abstract;
  • A letter of application; containing the name and contact information of your supervisor, including email address;
  • A curriculum vitae;
  • ISMRM Membership (stipend awards are dispersed to ISMRM members only).
