Overview
This course addresses a skill sets gap in identifying and debugging the sources of artifacts in MRI. A wide variety of artifacts will be presented by members of the ISMRM community with input from experts. This course provides an interactive means for rapidly identifying effect and cause of image artifacts.

Target Audience
This course has been designed for trainees, MRI technologists and practicing radiologists who may benefit from the ability to rapidly identify and eliminate common and uncommon artifacts encountered in clinical practice.

Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

-Classify and evaluate principle categories of artifacts;
-Identify sources of commonly encountered artifacts and implement methods to avoid them; and
-Recommend further tests for problem solving and troubleshooting artifacts.
