Session Number: SMRT-13 Overview The plenary presentation will address the theme of this year's meeting with a lecture on the importance of bridging the gap between scientific advance & clinical translation. Following is the keynote lecture on the use of holograms for visualising human anatomy. The SMRT President's Lecture, established to celebrate the achievements and the careers of pioneers in the field of MRI, will be presented by Proffessor P.Ellen Grant known for her contributions to fetal and neonatal neuroimaging. Target Audience Radiographers, MR technologists, radiologists, clinicians, and scientists interested in learning about the clinical translation of technological advances in MRI Educational Objectives As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to: 1. Describe potential advantages and challenges of utilising cutting-edge MR technology in a clinical setting. 2. Explain recent developments in the use of holograms for visualising human anatomy. 3. Review the history, current landscape and future direction of MRI in fetal and neonatal imaging. |
