Session Number: S-Tu-07 Overview This sunrise course will provide an overview of recent advances in stroke imaging raging from pre-clinical animal studies to their clinical applications. More specifically, this course will focus on functional MR imaging of post-stroke animal models as well as recently advancing non-constant stroke imagine in humans. Target Audience Basic scientists to clinicians will benefit from this overview of the stroke and neuromuscular MR imaging. Educational Objectives As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to: - Recognize appropriate animal models used for stroke imaging; - Demonstrate functional assessment of post-stroke animal modes using MRI; - Discuss advanced imaging techniques challenged in stroke imaging; and - Identify clinical applications of advanced MR imaging in stoke patient care.
