Texture analysis based on T2-weigted images show high differentiation between IVDs with and without annular fissuring

Features calculated
with TA showed to be significantly different between the IVDs with and without
annular fissuring. When the features were used for classification by random
forest a high accuracy in differentiating between discs with and without
annular fissuring was achieved.
