Session Number: WE-27 Overview MR spectroscopy brings enormous value to basic and clinical research as well as clinical management. In this session, we will expose the audience to lesser-known MRS applications and developments towards disease diagnosis and treatment monitoring. Target Audience Clinicians and basic scientists interested to learn about what amazing value MRS can bring about. Educational Objectives As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to: - Recognize less common MRS applications used preclinically and clinically; - Describe how MRS can diagnose infection and treatment response; - Articulate how brain temperature measurements are performed and applied to disease and diagnosis; and - Describe how MRS is applied towards exploring brain microstructure and activation.
