Overview
This course will provide a basic introduction and application around MR-guided therapy. This course has two lectures: the first lecture will introduce the basics in MR guided radiotherapy, and the second lecture will be around MR-guided interventions.

Target Audience
Researchers who are interested in the current research on MR-guided therapeutic techniques. This includes researchers who are interested in methodological developments, as well as clinicians who are interested in application of the current state-of-the-art techniques.

Educational Objectives
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
- Describe MR-guided therapeutic techniques;
- Identify advantages and limitations using MR-guided therapy; and
- Develop knowledge around the application of MR guided therapy in various clinical applications.

		MR-Guided Radiotherapy: clinical application and developments with on-board MRI Watch the Video Yingli Yang With the successful integration of radiation therapy (RT) and MRI into a single treatment system by different vendors, MRI-guided RT (MRgRT) is being introduced into the clinics to improve RT targeting through the superior soft-tissue contrast and functional information from MRI. However, access to this novel treatment system is still limited to a few academic hospitals and large cancer centers. As MRgRT increasingly shows potentials and gains interests, it is highly desirable to disseminate the new knowledge to the wider community in RT field and MRI field. This course aims to share current clinical and research knowledge on this topic.
		MRI Guided Minimally Invasive Procedure for Brain Interventions Video Permission Withheld Guangzhi Wang, Hua Guo The report will focus on neurosurgery of the brain and introduce some advances in magnetic resonance-image guidedminimally invasive diagnosis and treatment. First, through multi-contrast magnetic resonance image, 3D map of criticalstructures and function of the brain could be extracted, and a complete surgical planning is carried out. The detection electrode or treatment device could be placed in the detection or treatment position accurately by the surgical robot, and the temperature of the ablation zone is monitored in real time in Laser-Induced Thermal Therapy to achieve preciseablation. The core technologies and solutions are discussed.
