Towards a More Power Efficient Two-Channel Biplanar Z-Gradient Coil Design Using Target Field Method

A power-efficient
two-channel biplanar Z-gradient coil is designed and compared to a conventional
coil design. It was shown that the dissipated power can be lowered by more than
25% for the specific coil dimensions.
