The ISMRM Brazilian Chapter was launched in August 2024 with the goal of strengthening the Brazilian MRI community in a multidisciplinary way.
Our mission is to build up a strong and engaged network of professionals and scientists working in the field of MRI in Brazil, in both clinical and research environments, with the aim to pursue following goals:
- To foster the collaboration and exchange of experience between professionals of different backgrounds: physicists, physicians, engineers, MR technologists and operators, biomedical scientists, and other MR researchers
- To advance the field of clinical and scientific MRI research in Brazil
- To provide MRI educational and training opportunities
- To provide mentorship opportunities for early career members
Our chapter is also committed to promote within the Brazilian MR community the benefits of ISMRM membership, which include reduced fees for the ISMRM International Annual Meeting, free Virtual Meetings, access to numerous study groups, and free membership in our Chapter.
