Transportation from Lisbon Airport
Transportation from Lisbon Airport to Champalimaud Foundation is approximately a 20 minute subway ride and is easily accessible by Public Transportation, Taxis, Ride Shares or Rental Car.
Public Transportation - Metro
The Lisbon Airport has a Metro (subway) station with a direct line to the city centre. The 'Aeroporto – Saldanha' line takes you to downtown Lisbon in about 20 minutes. The Metro network will allow you to move around the city at ease. It is a quick and inexpensive way to get around, plus you'll get to see Lisbon's subway stations – each with its own theme and décor.
Taxi
There are always Taxis at the airport, usually lined up at the departure and arrival terminals.
Depending on traffic, the route is fast, costing between 10 and 15 euros, with luggage included. If you choose this mode of transport, make sure the taximeter is turned on at the beginning of the trip and, when paying, always ask for a receipt/invoice.
Rideshare
Located in Park 7, near the TRYP Hotel, this shared car service, with per-minute rates, is an excellent choice for traveling to and from the airport.
