Attendees can fly into Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), which is about 8 miles/13 km southwest of CHOP and takes approximately 20-25 minutes by car. There are multiple modes of public transportation from the airport to CHOP.

Northeast corridor AMTRAK trains stop at 30th Street Station, which is about 1 mile from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Regional Rail Line

Attendees can take the SEPTA Airport Regional Rail Line from the airport to get to the venue (about USD$5.00 one way). Get on at Airport Terminal A and get on the 448 Center City Philadelphia Line. Ride for about 15-20 minutes and get off at Penn Medicine Station. The CHOP HUB Building is a seven-minute walk away. Read more about the SEPTA Airport Region Linehere.

The Airport Line service runs seven days a week and every 30 minutes during weekdays/hourly on weekends between 05:00-23:59.

Stations on the Airport Regional Rail Line include Terminal E/F, Terminal C/D, Terminal B, Terminal A (East), Eastwick, University City, 30th Street, and three Center City stations along Market Street. All stations on the Airport Line are wheelchair accessible.

SEPTA City Trains, Trolleys & Buses

The SEPTA Market/Frankford Blue Line (the elevated train/subway) stops at 34th and Market Sts. A 10-minute walk south on 34th Street or a five-minute ride on the LUCY Shuttle takes you to the hospital.

All SEPTA Subway/Surface Green Line trolleys, except for the 10 trolley, stop underground at the 36th St. and 37th St. stations.

SEPTA bus routes 30, 40, and 42 run in front of or near the hospital.

Do not make use of unlicensed taxis if you would like a safe, hassle-free trip. Licensed taxi drivers do not stand inside the terminal nor ask if you need a cab.

A number of transportation services, including private car services and app-based ride services such as Uber and Lyft are available at PHL aiport.

Attendees can meet their rideshare drivers at the Ride App pick-up zones are located on the S. Commercial Road outside of each Baggage Claim. Exit through the doors onto the S. Commercial Rd. and continue to follow signs for Ride App/Zone 7.

NOTE: Parking is extremely limited in the area of the venue. Biking/walking and other modes of transportation such as rideshares and SEPTA are encouraged.
