Membership of the British Chapter is open to all
professionals with an interest in magnetic resonance and its
application to medicine and biology. Membership is free and
not conditional on belonging to the parent organisation
ISMRM*. However, to be
eligible to vote, to serve on the British Chapter committee,
and for discounted registration fees when attending British
Chapter Annual Scientific Meetings you must be a Full Member
of ISMRM. Being an ISMRM Member also entitles Students you
supervise to apply for Stipends when they attend the British
Chapter Annual Scientific Meeting to present a talk or
poster. Without your Membership of ISMRM and the British
Chapter, your Students will not be entitled to apply for
Stipends. You may join the British Chapter at any time
by completing and returning the Membership Application Form
(see below). Alternatively, when attending a British Chapter
Annual Scientific Meeting you will automatically be
registered as a Member unless you opt out. Membership runs
for four years before it should be reconfirmed.
Student Membership of the British Chapter is open to all
students registered for a degree in a relevant field of
study, whether full-time or part-time, undergraduate or
postgraduate. We also welcome those studying for an MD.
Student Membership of the British Chapter is free, and
Student Members are entitled to discounted rates when
attending the British Chapter Annual Scientific Meeting.
Furthermore, Student Members whose Supervisor is a Member of
the parent organisation ISMRM (and the British Chapter) are
entitled to apply for Student Stipends when attending the
British Chapter Annual Scientific Meeting to present a talk
or poster. Your Supervisor must be a Full Member of the
ISMRM and the British Chapter for you to be eligible for a
Stipend. Note that Student Membership of the British
Chapter does not by itself qualify you for ISMRM Student
rates. |
